About Me
My background includes several years as a high school counselor, where I supported teens through academic stress, identity development, and relationship challenges. That experience helps me understand the transition from adolescence to adulthood and the unique pressures young adults face—college, career decisions, social and romantic relationships, and emerging independence.
In individual work with young adults I focus on building practical skills for managing anxiety: grounding and breath techniques, cognitive tools to challenge unhelpful thoughts, and behavioral strategies to increase confidence and life balance. Together we’ll create a treatment plan that fits your values and goals.
In couples work I use the Gottman Method to strengthen communication, repair conflict, and rebuild connection. Sessions are collaborative and skills-based: we’ll practice how to express needs without blame, listen with empathy, manage conflict more effectively, and nurture friendship and intimacy within the relationship.
My approach is warm, practical, and strengths-focused. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore concerns, learn new skills, and make meaningful changes. I’m looking forward to meeting you and supporting your journey toward greater calm, connection, and well-being.
I can’t wait to meet you!
